Rumours have been rife for some time that the catwalk veteran is hanging up her stiletto’s but now Gisele Bundchen has confirmed that she’s retiring from the catwalk. After gracing the runway for the majority of fashion’s biggest names, the supermodel has made her name as the highest earning model with a reported fortune of $386 million. Yep, you read that right! So, understandably the mother of two has decided that her time is up and she’s looking to focus on other projects.
“I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey. Today after 20 years in the industry, it is a privilege to be doing my last fashion show by choice and yet still be working in other facets of the business,” the Brazilian said. But in true Gisele style, she took centre stage for a final time walking in the Colcci show at the Sao Paulo fashion week with her husband Tom Brady front row.
