With the launch of Benefit’s new eyebrow kit it seems that our love affair with our face-framers has been reignited. So, what’s the latest?
Originating in Asia, microblading is a semi-permanent brow treatment that uses a tool similar to a pen that includes tiny needles (don’t panic, it’s pain-free as they numb the area first) to individually draw on hairs. Unlike tattooed eyebrows, it gives a softer, more realistic finish and lasts up to 18 months.
I must admit, I do like a good brow treatment, usually tinting, threading or waxing but as my fellow blonde ladies will know, we can look a little sparse in this department thanks to our fair hair – amazing when you haven’t shaved your legs, but not so ideal when it comes to creating a strong make-up look. Although I’ve yet to try it yet, microblading would be perfect for those who are a little gappy up top and are looking to shave time off of their beauty regime in the mornings!
Available nationwide, it’ll set you back around £200 per session
