STELLA McCARTNEY DESIGNS CHARITY T-SHIRTS FOR WAR CHILD

There’s no other fashion designer that cares quite as much about worldwide issues as Stella McCartney. A renowned vegan and animal rights activist, the daughter of Sir Paul McCartney has now designed two gorgeous t-shirts in aid of children’s protection charity War Child.

Inspired by contributions to the Draw Me to Safety scheme, a project which was launched by McCartney and UN Special Envoy Angelina Jolie at the Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict summit last year, the delicate sketches were created by children aged 8 to 15 years old. When asked the question “what makes you feel safe?” the children expressed their feelings through the method of art.

The children’s T-shirt is £32 and the women’s is £72; all profits from the sales will be donated to War Child. All designs can be purchased online and in store.
