If you’ve been inside the spectacular V&A Museum in London you’ll know the entrance is pretty amazing. But since fashion designer Gareth Pugh has adorned the marble hallway with a contemporary golden Christmas tree, it’s that little bit more special. Titled ‘Abstract Nativity’ the tiered pyramid formation is a modern take on the traditional tree, standing 13 ft tall in reflective gold and emitting a beacon of light from within.

The futuristic design is a perfect contrast against the historical backdrop of one of the capitals landmarks. Although I’m not a massive fan of Pugh’s catwalk collections, this one he’s got spot on. If you are visiting London in the lead-up to Christmas, it’s definitely worth a visit.
