It’s the award synonymous with some of pop’s most iconic moments so it’s only fitting that the statue itself should be equally as memorable. Previously designed by Philip Treacy, Sir Peter Blake, Damien Hirst and Vivienne Westwood, 2015 has seen the music world and art world collide once more as it’s been announced that the award figure will be designed by Tracey Emin for 2015.

The blush pink figure with fabric rosette is inscribed with a hand-written message from the artist herself that reads, “Congratulations on your talent on your life. On everything you give to others. Thank you.” Or maybe it’s the winner that should be thanking Ms Emin, for providing a gloriously girly take on a golden classic.
