With her 50th birthday a mere two years away, Cindy Crawford is certainly a post girl for anti-ageing. The original supermodel showed her flawless complexion and line-free skin as she poses for the cover of Violet Grey magazine.
Speaking to the magazine, Cindy shares her insights into the ageing process and how important it is to start taking care of your skin from an early age. “Results are cumulative,” Cindy said. “When a 35-year-old starts taking care of her skin, she won’t look different. It’s when you’re my age that you start seeing the payoff.”
She added: “The secret is that there is no secret. Do all the stuff we know: Don’t smoke, get enough sleep, drink plenty of water, find what makes you happy.” As an avid fan of Pilates and healthy eating, Cindy has battled with botox rumours for years but has yet to confirm or deny the use of plastic surgery. So how does the beauty plan to see in the new decade? I thought about writing a book. It’s probably what we should all do on our birthdays, to take a look back to examine our lives. When you’re in the middle of something you can’t see as clearly, so… it’s been a great journey for me to look back and reflect…”
Plastic surgery or not, I’m crossing everything that I look that good at 50…or 30.
